E4 Hike to Kedrodasos Beach
From Elafonisi you can follow the marked E4 coastal trail east to the protected cedar beach of Kedrodasos (about 2 km). The path combines sea views, dunes and juniper trees and ends at a quiet, undeveloped bay that’s perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Bring water, snacks and good shoes – there are no services there.

Chrisoskalitissa Monastery
A few kilometres before Elafonisi, this historic monastery is built on a rocky hill overlooking the Libyan Sea. It’s a short stop but worth it for the views, the small church and the quiet atmosphere – a nice change of pace from the beach crowds.
